Homogenous = Single

Heterogenous = Several

Homogenous foods include Milk, Flour, Sugar, and anything that is a base ingredient/substance.

Heterogenous foods include packaged food like pasta sauces, cereal, anything that contains more than one ingredient.

spaghetti sauce is heterogeneous whip cream is homogeneous, spaghetti sauce is a mix of DIFFERENT types of food mixed together. Whip cream is cream a product skimmed from milk, and only consists of what is found in milk.

homogeneous and hetergeneous are stupid. homogeneous would be orange juice and hetergeneous would be salad dressing and tacos.
