Well you should talk to your friend about it. If she is ok with it then I don't see why not.

Well, she SAID she doesn't care. The question is, does she really mean what she says? If they only dated for a couple weeks, it might be fine. But you will have to judge by her body language and such things if she really will care or not. Also, do you know why they broke up? Maybe he's not worth dating.

It depends on how close you are with your friend. If you have to ask, it's probably a bad idea.
I would stay away if at all possible -- it will only ever make things difficult between you and your friend.

dont go by what your friend says. go by what you know she feels. also, go by how close you are to her. obvoiously he didn't date her long-he might not want to date you too long either...but maybe that was just a glitch. they couldn't have gotten too close-your friend and he, but be open with her and talk it out. thats the best thing to do-talk everything out with her. then you will see things clearly.

even though she says she doesnt care, she really does. my friends broke up with her boyfriend last year and then she said he was goign to ask me out. i would say no even if i did like him because i wouldnt want to hurt my friends feelings. i would pick your friend over that guy anyday

I say flow directly to somebody with out the bags. while that toddler is born and he has to guy as much as his standard jobs, I also have a feeling which you isn't pleased with the drama, that's inevitable. have faith me, the toddler-mama will reason issues and attempt loyaties, cuz she would be able to need him to be there for her.

She may say she doesn't care but she may really care. Just talk to her again to see how she REALLY feels about it. You wouldn't want to ruin a friendship over a guy:)

I firmly believe that ex-boyfriends of friends are "OFF LIMITS"!!! I don't care if she gave you her blessing. She might be just hiding her true feelings & really don't want you dating him. Did you ever think of that? Be wise & keep him off limits.
