I jsut started college and when i was at orientation, one of the students running it kept staring at me from across the room in an affectionate way. Then when classes started I saw him around talking with his friends at this thing that all the school clubs had information tables at. Right after I went to one, he went there. I found out at the first meeting that he jsut joined. We see each other all the time, and often have to work together on projects. He is really nice to me and still seems flirty. He will make fun of me a little and i will do the same. But then he seems like he is trying to ignore me whe i am around, but i see him look at me. Sorry for the long question.

Yeah he likes you and isnt good @ hiding it. Make sure you like him before you get into anything too deep-also, make sure he likes you for who you are, not his first impression of you (in that he liked you before he got to know you). There is a difference b/t lust and love!

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

well, i would be wondering too, if that happened to me. do you like him? i bet his does like you, from the sounds of it, but it could be a coincidence, but i doubt it. if he likes you, he is probably trying to get up enough courage to let you know, but make sure you like him too before you jump into something. ask around, who he hangs with, if he is dating someone. its always good to know what your'e getting into. when i was in college there were lots of guys just waiting for the younger first year students, hoping to find someone they could have a relationship with. protect yourself, make sure you know this guy before you go out or any thing. sorry for the long answer! good luck, have fun at college. my college days were great, best time of a young persons life, really.

Sounds like a yes! Starting college can be an insecure time. He also sounds a little intimidated by you if he is making jokes - like he's testing the water.

i think u should just ask him out or at least ask him to go out and get coffee as friends so otht the 2 of u can talk and get to know each other first
