I am going to replace the fuel filter in my car, I think that may be what is causing the stuttering.

It is on the right frame rail (under the car), near the fuel tank. Buy a Haynes or Chilton repair manual if you are going to do a lot repairs yourself. These manuals also have troubleshooting sections.

It is ether on the fuel rail system which is under the car on the side or it might be in the engine bay leading in the fuel injectors. or there might be one in the tank or bay the fuel tank.

Follow the fuel line from the tank and you will find it . It is usually bolted to the frame under the car.

Near the fuel tank, on the right rear, you can't miss it.
