Two parts, one keep a big pot of water boiling on the stove to put water back in the air. The heater just takes it out so fast. Then after a bath, while still wet put a thin layer of vasoline, baby oil or some other intense oil based skin condiitoners all over your dry skin. Drink as much water as you can, dont drink alcohol, it dehydrates you. that should do it. Mary Kay has a nighttime very intense cream that kind of looks like orange vasoline, it is amazing.

yes, if you are really really dry, (like bleeding knuckles and cracked lips) the absolute best thing is plain old vaseline! My hands drink regular lotion for breakfast! (I wash my hands a million times a day, being a dental assistant). Last year, I asked my sister (a pharmacist) what was the best lotion, and she explained how vaseline actually traps your own moisture in your skin. It is the best. BUT, since I don't really want it all over my face, I use Oil of Olay(original, regular), in the A.M. before I put on my makeup. It's the only facial lotion I've found that I don't sweat out all day long--no greasy feel. I've heard that the Avon Skin-so-soft is a great all body moisturizer for decades, still good. Plus an interesting fact about Skin-so-soft, is that it repels gnats. NO KIDDING - When I worked in a greenhouse in Florida, my co-worker sold Avon and swore by it. I would dab some on like perfume, the gnats would leave me alone! LOL

If you wear makeup, try putting a primer (like M.A.C. Primer for the face) underneath your makeup. It really helped make my skin less flaky and disgustion.
Do NOT exfoliate. It will irritate your skin and you will be sad.
Buy a cleanser for dry skin, and when you wash your face, DO NOT dry it off. Put moisturizer on right away. This will help lock moisture in your skin.
I hope I helped!

Look for a body wash that helps keep skin from getting dry and keep hand lotion in your bag.

stay away from any mineral oil. very dangerous for the skin. Drink a lot of water, tape Omega3. do not use really hot water, use a soap for dry skin.

For my hands and feet, I put Vaseline on as lotion before I go to bed. After I shower in the morning, I use Avon's Skin-So-Soft, and it's alot easier than putting lotion on daily.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/uInNI
