Be careful with the Tylenol, with how much you take. Prescription strength ibuprofen is 800 mg. that can be taken every 6-8 hours. So, you can take 3 or 4 200mg tabs of that. Be sure you eat a little something with it, it can be hard on the tummy. Have you tried Aleve? This will also work with joint pain. My husband had problems with his shoulder and the Dr. told him to take 2 in the morning and at night. I hope you get some relief soon. If you chose to use the ibuprofen, after you get the pain under control, cut your dose back to the normal dose or down to at least 2 every 6 hours or rotate the Aleve one day and ibuprofen the next.

Taking all that advil and tylenol is killing your kidneys. Stop that. You need to get out and walk, you may be sitting too much and stiffing up the several muscles that surround the hip joint.

If you have hip joint problems, have you been seen by a doctor to determine exactly what is going on?

I have acquired some hip pain and I know it's because the muscles in my hip area are tense from so much sitting. I try to walk daily and do some leg lifts and bends too. Seems to help quite a bit. Hot baths too. Also watch your diet. Too much sugar or salt can aggrivate some muscle and joint problems.

I suggest looking into a couple all natural supplements.

Joint & Muscle Pain Cream - targets the source of pain for quick relief with deep penetration.

Joint Health Complex - supports the body's gradual ability to build cartilage, soothe and lubricate joints, and help improve overall joint function.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions.

Have you had any trauma to the hip?If not,it could be arthritis or degeneration of the joint. The best way to make sure is to have an X Ray and ask your doctor for something better to take than Tylenol.

Joint pain or stiffness of the joint may be caused by overexertion, injuries, arthritis, muscle pain, bursitis and other diseases. Depending on the cause of the joint pain, joints on both sides of the body and small or large joints may be affected. Some types of joint pains can be completely cured but for other types of joint pain (like pain caused by osteoarthritis), treatment will only reduce the pain.
