That's an automatic felony buddy. I know it is in California and I'm pretty sure about the rest of the country. You'd most likely get at least jail time. If it was apparent that it was for your own use and you didn't have any priors(a rap sheet) you would most likely get a plea bargain and go to a treatment center if lucky. There are plenty of people in prison for stuff like that though.

Where I am from it is anywhere from a 3rd degree felony to a second degree felony depending on where you were and who you were with when you had it. Basically possible prison and fines. Likely a small amount of jail time and fines.

Possession of heroin, no matter how small, is a felony. Get rid of it and off drugs!

If it was for personal use and not distribution, you may qualify for drug court, which requires a willingness to go into drug and alcohol treatment and follow through with it seriously. Under probation, of course, until completed. Good luck.
