nervous habit and oral fixation?--it know that kissing it while praying the rosary is meaningful, but the opnly meaning I can think of for your example is telling jesus to bite me

i don't think so, all the people I've seen that do that, do it with all of their necklaces, it's a kind of a habit for most, something they do subconsciously
