Vaccinated means they are protected from the virus and such. So what they are protected from you can not get from them. Its when they are not vaccinated is when to worry.

This depends on what "disease" you are taking about. There are only two zoonotic diseases that are vaccinated for (disease which are transmitted between species - for example dog to human). If you were bit by your dog and think you will get rabies and he vaccinated against it it's very unlikely that you will get it. If the dog has a cold or flu virus it is possible for that to be transmitted but it would be just like if you got it from a human. This isn't that common but it can occur.

If your dog is well cared for: good healthy food source and clean water, vaccinated regularly, seen by a veterinarian on a at least yearly basis, and dewormed regularly and kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention you should have minimal to worry about. So make a checklist from what I have mentioned here and complete it and you should be perfectly safe as will be your dog! Good luck!

I do not see how you could get a disease from a vacinated dog...

There aren't many things a human can get from a dog anyway, but vaccinations means just that, vaccinated not contagious. When you or your child gets a vaccine, you don't quaratine yourself and no one else gets it. Same way with animals.

There are diseases that dogs can give to humans, and ther are no vaccines for. Brucellosis comes to my mind immediately.

No, of course not. If you could, probably at least half the people in the world would be sick.
