You can use your shampoo to wash it. You can use your blow dryer on high and hold it close enough to heat up the bristles without melting them. If you have time, you can soak your brush overnight in baking soda and water in your sink. (This actually is good for your brush as it cleans the hair products and natural oils off your brush)

Alcohol of some kind (vodka, brandy, the strong stuff) will do it, if you dont mind wasting it - or grab some disinfectant from the cleaning cupboard. even lemon juice if you are desperate!! But do you really need to? Does she have nits or something? I would have though under normal cercumstances sharing a hairbruss was no big deal??

Hot tap water and bleach or baking soda. Let it sit in that solution for 1/2 hour.

is the girl that dirty that you need to disinfect your hairbrush? You can dip it in alcohol but that's about it...and make sure you rinse it afterwards...maybe antibacterial soap would work to.

There are varying ways to do this. At home you can use-proxide-alcohol-bleach. But remember to rinse it well before using. Out of the home-you can use germ-ex and rinse it at any sink.

Go to a beauty supply house like Sally's and get some barbicide, that is what we use in a salon. It is also what Doctors and hospital use.
