my exboyfriend and i was in a relationship for 4 1/2 years and we broke up 2 1/2 months ago. we broke up because he felt that we were too young to get too serious. i was 16 and he was 17 years old when we first met. i asked him if it was someone else that he had in mind and he said no. i was hurt because he just decided to tell me one day that he wanted to be alone. i was puzzled because i could not figure out why he felt like that, after telling me that we were going to be together forever.we were both hurt because we did not want to lose each other.2 days ago i asked him if he wanted to see and said yes. and asked him if he had slept with any body and he did not want to answer me. i had to get him mad by telling him that i was f uckin g another guy in order for him to tell me. his answer was no. i believed him because he had no reason to lie. i told him the truth so i would expect the same from him too. today i tested and asked him if he wanted to see me and he said IN THE FUTURE.

Move on....forget the relationship ...you screwed around and he knows it so he will never feel the same for you again.

Honestly, I think your guy is confused. Maybe he is trying to do some soul searching, making sure that he can be the best for you. Then again, maybe he jsut wants to make sure you're right for him.

I do think he wants to see you in the future but maybe just as a friend. And if you really want him back, then don't lie, even if it is to get him to talk. That hurts and that's what he will remember.

I think he thought that things were going too fast and he wanted some time to slow down and get things together. I'm guessing that maybe in the future if you treat him right and if he has had enough time to think through what has been going on you two could be together. Just have patience. It's all it takes.

He has reached for his hat. He wants out. You were too young to be thinking so seriously but don't wrap your hopes and dreams around a vague promise of sometime in the future. Get out and see other people. As you grow older, your tastes change.

I think he really cares about you and wants a serious relationship but not now. Maybe he needs time to find himself.

move on he has, you're both young, and he is out seeing what else is out there. You should too, don't sit around and ponder the meanings!
