My husband loves the oriental, he will put many things in his,
like onions, carrots, chopped beef or pork, celery, then he
will crack an egg in it when its almost done and cover the
pot for about 5 minutes. Oh this is so gooooooood.

I love making a nice soup with the ramen noodles. I'll usually pour a can of chicken broth in a pot along with the 'broth' packet and 2 cups of water, toss in some cut up chicken or turkey, onioins and misc. seasonings. Get it boiling and break up the noodles a little bit and then add to the boiling broth. Makes a yummy soup that I usually serve with grilled cheese. Mmmm...

Cook the noodles, then remove the water(leave a tiny bit in) Add butter, the packet and dash of hot sauce sometimes I add scrambled eggs!
Or....
Cook the noodles...leave in a little of the water, add butter, the packet, ground hamburger meat (cooked), corn and/or peas, soy sauce to taste!

I just drain mine and use a fork to mix in the powder. It was years before I realized it was supposed to be a SOUP.
