No he did not take them on board because he needed to conserve water and could not give them anything to drink. I did hear he built a little ark shaped submarine and pulled them along behind. He checked on them daily to see that they did not drown from the flooding waters.

No just 1 pair (or 7 pairs if you read the bit from the other version they included in there) of every land animal including birds but not dinosaurs. Fish got out due to a known loophole (God didn't consider them evil apparently).
What I wanna know is where they put all the poo.
Also, I'd like to know is why other religions have flood/death stories like this.

Intelligence tells everyone that there was no need to put fish or sea creatures on the Arch. Why would Noah do that ? He was surrounded by water. It rained for fourty days and nights. As the flood waters would rise the sea creatures would be in their glory. As the flood waters subsided, many would die, out of water. So No, Noah did not take sea or water creatures on the Arch.

Silly Swampy, fish don't breath air.
Only the land creatures, things that had "the breath of life" died in the Flood. Fish and amphibians wouldn't be threatened by this. Perhaps none of the sea creatures were, even though some of them were mammals, and breathing air.

All the saltwater fish and all the freshwater fish somehow happily joined forces in the resulting concoction and rode it out, cleverly finding their way back to the appropriate distribution areas once the water went down again.

Probably not because fish can survive in water and wouldn't really do well on a boat.
