Well, those people are uneducated and because of that, they believe basically anything. They probably believe that the moon is made out of cheese too.

We cannot view the world as round without leaving the planet. You see everyday life as flat, your town, the road to work, everything is flat as we perceive it. It makes sense to only believe what you, yourself can comprehend. I believe the world is flat because just today I watched the Sun float across my sky.

I'm not saying the world is flat; but I've never taken the time to travel in one direction until I end up where I started.

Thomas Freidman's book "The World Is Flat" is a very interesting read. It's about recent history, and the "flattening" of the world today. Look it up!

When we walk or see outside from a plane or just normally it is flat and many people don't accept the view of science and technology and need to see it to believe it

I don't know anyone who believes the world is flat. Who have you been talking to? Do you think they are just pulling your leg? I have never heard anyone say the world is flat, even in jest.

maybe because they never looked at a mountain and wondered why do they see the top of the mountain before the lower part of the mountain even though the lower part of the mountain is closer the them.
maybe its because some of them believe that the satellites are from Satan and that it pours lies to defy there faith.
or maybe its easy to just believe what you like instead of thinking because its takes some effort to think.

I did not know that anyone still thought that way. That is very interesting. I do not know other than maybe the people that think that way don't understand science, history and everything that man has discovered over the decades.
