With black hair a true red color always stands out. I'd go with large chunks of red. Just put it in random places. Red fades out really fast though. I’d bleach out the spots and just put temporary red on them that way the color is always bright and shocking. I think Manic Panic comes in red and you can get that at Sally’s. Ohh or I just thought you could buy a lot of different temp colors and mix and match. Have FUN! >: D

Well if you're dying it black that is always a good start, why not go to the hairdressers and ask for a razered layers and funk 'em up! i <3 hairstyles like that. Or get a photograph of someones hairstyle you'd possibly want and try to copy it good luck i <3 emo/goth hair

have a really heavy fringe that goes quite a way back with lots of layers and also have lots of layers in the rest of ur hair, then back comb it and use lots of hairspray to make it have loooaaaddsssaaa volume =) that would look awesome =) then wear a pink bow in it? ( or is that a bit emo??)

Hey your avatar's hair style would work, also you could layer your hair, a lot, jagged choppy layers, and have it be abt shoulder length. It's not my style, but I've seen plenty people with that style and that's how their hair is. Go for it!!
