I Am Looking At A Mint-Condition 63' Pontiac Temest With A Volkswagen Differential . I Don't Really Know Much About Cars But I Thought It Was A Nice Looking Car So I Thought It Might Be Worth The Buy. How Much Do You Think I Should Pay For It And Would It Be A Nice Car For Me? i own a repair shop,and we have done some restorations here t the shop,and one like that its really hard to say what it would be worth, i seen one at a car show for 8500 and it was real nice,and i think it sold that day before the show was over,but that one if its real nice would be worth a lot more ,im guessing there probably going to ask between 5 k and maybe 8 k on it,if you decide you really want it,have someone look it over real good for you before you buy it,and get the best deal you can on it,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

At 16 you may want to find something a bit newer and not modified. You`re going to be paying a bunch for insurance and repairs are inevitable. Why not check out what your friends drive and find something like that? A Pontiac w/ a VW diff. would scare me.Good luck.

Im sure it would be a neat car but not practical as a daily driver. Insurance would be expensive or very hard to attain as well parts would be hard to get and tough to acquire. Consider something newer or you might not be happy in the end. Good luck and congratulations.
