I have heard there are denominations where they make the women have long hair and wear dresses to be more feminine

The amish ladies I have seen have their heads covered. Not sure if is a requirement or not. (long dresses of a dark solid color also)

it does say in the bible that women should do so
but i only know of one who does ... DebraM who is one of the regulars here and she is Catholic
but that is through her own choice

yes,the catholic church and the episcopal church at one time...
