When you quote someone, there's no gist to it. If it's not 100% correct it can't be a quote, so how can any body answer that question?

I don't know if 'merged into nature' quite describes what I felt, but I have felt something like that before.

cant say i have ever felt like i was "merged into nature" what does this have to do with religion?

not really - but i have felt appreciative in the tranquility of nature. (try going out to look at the full moon at twelve during harvest-time)

maybe it's that feeling you get of insignifigance when you look up into the sky and see a billion stars or when you see the vastness of the ocean.
