I doubt he will have a heart attack, but ya gotta feel bad for the poor guy! If he was mine, I would sit with him during the fireworks so he doesn't get as upset. We let mine up on the bed to cuddle last year because she was scared. You need to comfort her! BTW, what is going on next week you can buy fireworks for? We can only buy them legally here around New Years and 4th of July. No Halloween though :-(

There is no cure. Keep the dog protected from the noise of fireworks the best you can.

well some people actually do give their dogs some form of tranquilizers on days that there will be fireworks; i'm not advocating them, ask your vet, but i lived in a state where fireworks were very big for new years and the 4th and it was very common there to get something from the vet to give to your dog on those days.

Are dog Bullit is the same way when he was a pup people would put fireworks by him and set them off..When fireworks are going on bring him inside and put him in the most quietest part of your house that should work ..good luck..

My dog is like that. I just try to keep them occupied when fireworks are going off. Turn volume up on tv to drown out the sound of fireworks.

its perfectly normal for dogs too be scared off fireworks because they here about 6 times more than us. but if youre worried about him/her go to the vet for a tablet or something that puts him/her to sleep fora while or it does something like that ??

Mine is too, he has had this problem for his entire life. You can speak with your vet and see what he/she recommends, that is what I did, I also had a trainer give me some suggestions as well.
