How do you think the movie A day without a Mexican would effect Bush's idea for that 700 mile fence? Or if Bush would sit down and watch Born in East L.A.? Would he change his mind have you seen either of these flicks and what do you think?

I would miss my husband and kids.
I would miss going to my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Bush is only caving under pressure. He speaks Spanish for crying out loud! He's been to Mexico. He knows why they want to be here and even more why they NEED to be here! And it isn't just for the benefit of the illegal if ya know what I mean!

I think it would hurt a lot of the business owners pocket books! From construction to landscaping to restaurants on down the line. Cheap labor would not be there any longer because Americans are greedy and expect a lot more than those that have been without for so long.

I think the population would go down dramatically and our schools could return to a somewhat normal setting in the classroom sizes.

I think our economy would benefit a little bit due to not having to provide free health care and medicines.

I think we should focus on ALL the illegals and not just the Mexican population!

I think a lot of the crime would go down in some of ourlarger cities where the immigration decent is large.

Those movies are made with bias and are intended to give the illegals a good feeling. If anyone made a movie in which (let's just say) illegals were rapidly taking over America via illegitimate birthrate and “border-hopping“, committing crimes, raping women, spray-painting everything out in the open, ruining our nation's economy as they send money out of the states, putting pressure on our schools when they refuse to learn, read, and/or write in English, etc. and if a group of armed and angry citizens suddenly forced them back across the border in the end, the movie would be dubbed "hateful", "intolerant", "racist", etc.

That being said:
a. I wouldn’t hear “Latin rap.”
b. The walls at many of the parks would stop being covered with graffiti. The gangs that keep slashing the swings, slides, etc. and the broken beer bottles would also probably go away.
c. I would have less trouble trying to order food at Burger Kings and other fast food joints.
d. There would be a drop in crime and pit bull abuse.
e. My day would go on like any other one, with the exception of the above.

Well being that East L.A. is still and always will be part of the U.S.A. I guess the people there would just siesta all day if such a thing occurred. The Hispanics, not just Illegals tried that crap here in Phoenix and it backfired on them. Most of them lost a days pay and ended up having to work Saturday. Sure, we will miss the hard working Illegals, America loves them. But the problem is the Hispanics who think they are better than other races. Such as the group La Raza. This mind set is just as bad as a Islamic terrorist would think. Most Hispanics love the U.S.A and have worked hard to be successfull. The hate groups and gang bang thug wannabe gangsters need to be shipped to Argentina. Then we will welcome the millions of hard working Illegals to replace them. Welcome to America.

For everyone saying "we need illegals", it's like someone saying over a hundred years ago "we need slaves" to do our dirty work. Think about it! That's racist and exploitive.
Pro-illegals say we need illegals for cheap labor so that "I can afford fruits and vegetables at a low price". How pathetic is that?!
Don't they even listen to what they are saying?
And then 20 years from now we're going to have illegals and their families demanding reparations for all the money they think they deserved and didn't get. It will be a complete mess in a few decades.

Mexican as in illegal immigrants - or Mexican as legal immigrants - or Mexican people who have become citizens of this country, aka Americans

We may suddenly find ourselves lost, confused and..OMG!!!
but we'd get over it, realizing we can do things ourselves.. oh my.. that would mean some would actually have to get their hands dirty! So what!!! We did it before, we can do it now. Heck, I've never stopped doing it.
So, what's your point..

My life would change in that I could drive down the freeway and not worry that if I got in an accident, the other guy would have auto insurance...

Before you call me a racist, keep in mind, I live in San Diego...have you SEEN the way they drive in Mexico?!?! I have, and there is no difference (to them) between here and there.

That's ridiculous.

And so is a Day Without a Mexican. I couldn't even finish it. I don't care to see the other.

Facts are louder than propoganda.

no i have not seen the movie, i have herd about it. i think the movie was made by a bunch of supporters who want to set a panic in America. we survived with out them in the past. we will survive now. America will have more money to us on American resources. America needs to take care of her American citizens first. if the illegal Mexicans want to be here, they need to be legal.
