Flies in the house when I'm trying to eat my dinner.
The little basterds keep diev-bombing me and my food.
I hate them. I mean REALLY HATE THEM.
They make me so angry, I've just gotta get a rolled up newspaper and go kill them.
That'll teach them not to steal my dinner.

I get really angry on the behalf of others! When I am directly affected I deal with things much more calmly unless I know that someone is deliberately being patronising or disrespectful. And even then I don't get angry - I just reflect that person's behaviour back at them - and that really makes them cross!

I have got really angry twice in the past year. The first time was at the end of a really long shift. My colleague and I had just done 12 hour shifts. The bar was packed and a customer demanded that we go and clean the toilets immediately at 10.30 at night with a queue of 20. When my colleague tried to explain/reason the customer started telling him to do his job, and that if he didn't like his job he should do something else etc and demanding an answer - even though for us to do this would be unhygenic - and would also have left the bar unmanned. After hearing this I flipped and demanded to know who the customer thought he was. He lost the battle shall we say. My boss was very understanding luckily - even though I offered to give notice.
The second time was also work related - different company/job - but the company sent letters demanding repayments of 'overpayments' without stating where or how they had occurred. I got very angry but behaved much more rationally and rallied my colleagues round and contacted Citizens advice to make a case against their decision. We won.
Anyway, the point of these convoluted stories is to say that what makes me really angry enough to do something is when I think that other people, including myself, are being pushed around and given a bad deal or ripped off!

When I was in hospital, in the throes of depression, sometimes the doctors would ask me questions. They would talk really slowwwwly, as if I was retarded as well as depressed. Couldn't do much about it as you were under their care.
