The sign of a healthy mature person is the ability to enjoy their own company. Most people learn this as children.

Maybe a few weeks of counseling will be good for you..being happy or sad should not depend on being with another person.

Find a good Church, It always helps, and if you are already a member, please speak with your Pastor, you should be able to confide in him, and get prayer, Jesus will never leave us, nor forsake us. "Please believe that" and I will be praying for you for both of your natural and Spiritual needs to be met, in the mean time. Cheer up, you are loved. I have experienced lonliness in the past, but thank God for the love of "Christ, and The Holy Ghost" also the Church, my Pastor and his loving wife, I`ve not been lonely in years since I accepted Jesus in my life, since Feb.1977. oh yes, I`ve had problems, (and still do) disappointments, misunderstandings, sickness, sorrows and even deaths in my family, and lost friends, but there was hope, because God was always there for me, and He brought me through it all, consoled and gave me "Joy" and peace in the "Holy Ghost". He will do the same and more for you. So don`t be sad, be glad to know tha in "Christ Jesus" there is hope, good health and happiness for YOU. So may God bless, and comfort you as no one else can.

Well, for the immediate, go somewhere there are people. (bar, mall depending on age). Second, realize that companionship comes in time. You have to put yourself out there, but just like fishing, there could be sometime before there is any action. In the meantime, occupy your time. Find a hobby to perform while your are looking.

Go see a counsellor. Maybe they will put you on anti-depressants. You sound depressed.

e-mail me if you need someone new to try and talk to.
