It Has been said that President Tom of Iran is trying to bring on an Armegedon like situation to hasten this messiah's arival. Souposedly that's why he is determied to aniliate Isreal! what do you think? How does the story go concerning the Messiah

the muslim "messiah" has characteristics that christians recognize as the "antichrist", muslims are expecting a powerful figure to lead them to conquer the world and establish Islam as the only religion on earth, the muslim messiah will also persecute christians and jews who don't convert to Islam. This scenario sounds alot the the christian end-times> Muslims are also expecting "Jesus" to return in the end, but christians should recognize this figure as the "false prophet" mentioned in the biblical end times, the REAL Jesus Christ will defeat the antichrist, devil, and false prophet at his second coming>

That is the Mahdhi not the Messiah. Muslims believe the Messiah was Jesus.

At the time of his return, Shiites believe he will be the world's clerical leader, and they believe Jesus will return at the same time as the world's political leader.
