Why not, religion is personal faith nothing more. It is not a rigid law that must be followed above everything else. Religion is comfort food for the mind, not a live and die situation. Since all religion is fiction and fiction is full of mistakes (especially the bible even for fictional writings) don't dwell on the negatives live for the positives.

No, if the Bible says so, then it is so. That has been man's problem from the beginning. Trying to take that which is perfect and make it imperfect with our own thoughts and ideas. If mankind had it all together, then why have things turned out the way they have? There is great peace, joy and contentment when we take the time to study and absorb God's Word and then apply it in our lives. God's not standing on the sidelines, watching us make fools of ourselves, He arranged our redemption before the world began through Jesus Christ and is wanting ALL to come to Him through Christ to spend eternity with us...This is very cool! Why would anyone want to "rearrange" this awesome plan for all of us whom He loves?

Sure. The NT was still being debated in the 1500s. The problem may be finding a publisher for your 1 person edition.

If you wanted to do that then go ahead and do it. It's not sacriligious.
