you should be able to use the Windows Live Favorites or just hit F10 to bring out the old one.

In top left corner is a gold star and next to is a smaller green plus mark on top of a gold star. The large one is favorites. The green plus on top of gold star is add to favorites.

Favourite Center: press Alt + C
Add to Favourites: Ctrl + Z

Look for the gold star in the top left corner.
