Well, aside from ancient calendars using the moon to judge when months started and ended, new moons are symbolic of new beginnings. New moons and full moons were often declared public holidays back then. In some traditions the new moon was considered a holy time at which prayers were offered to moon gods/goddesses. In Buddhism, the new moon was a time to work on spiritual development. A lot of ancient folk lore tells us that moon phases were important to agrarian cultures and were often intertwined with their religious beliefs.

Is it that a month is variety of 30 days because of the fact it incredibly is variety of ways long the Moon takes to orbit the Earth?

What is your point? You asked this earlier, I know, but you never explained it then either. You haven't even closed that question yet.

As I said people probably noticed that the new moon appears on regular occassions (ie: every month) and based part of their calendar around it, then added it into the Bible as a "blessed sign that God has given us to show time". They weren't the first people to notice it though.

Btw: wtf are you talking about "materialistic stuff"? There were 4 answers, none relating to "materialistic stuff".

because that's the night that a succubi's victim will fall--according to hebrew tradition, after a succubus sleeps with her victim, he doesn't die right away--instead a spirit which is called asirta is summoned and stirred and attaches itself to the man and stays with him until the night of the new moon when the man falls down and does not get back up, or dies

You don't have anything to teach, you can hardly write. I can see that you are interested in learning, so why not start now by not asking questions that belittle you?
