How To Mince Onion

The easiest way is to use a knife and a cutting board. Chop it the finest you can.

You can use other mechanic or electric tools, but it is not worth the effort to wash them up afterwards, unless you have to mince dozens of onions.

Next time, when you are not in a hurry, remember you can buy frozen minced onion at tsome grocery stores.

On a cutting board, use a curved blade knife in a see-wasing action. chop the onion into little pieces, rechop, and chop again, until the pieces are about the size of the lead tip of a pencil. or you can put the onion into a vegetable chopper and set it to mince, or run it until the pieces are that size. Finally, you can buy a jar of minced onion that is fresh.

The best and quick way is to make parallel slices 1/8 inch apart through 3 quarters of the onion. Rotate the onion 90 degrees and repeat the process. Then just slice across the entire onion from end to the other one until you reach how far you have cut.

Easiest way I know:
Chop up some onion and put it in the blender with about a quarter cup of water. Blend it and drain it into a fine-wire colander.

Just chop onion as you normally would; only into smaller pieces.

You can either chop it really finely in both directions; or pop in the blender for a couple of second.
