I dated this girl for 5 years on and off. She has already moved on, but I still think about her all the time. I have been dating this one girl for a couple of months, but she does not compare to my ex. Even when i lay in bed with my new girl I still think about my ex.

If you are thinking about her that much, and you are obsessed with her, you love her, hun. There isn't really much I can tell you about what to do, but think about why you guys broke up. Think of things you did wrong, what she did wrong, what she expected, vice versa. She could have just been waiting for you to give her a sign you were ready to be serious, and you didn't give it. She won't waste her time with someone that is just going to move on later...women tend to separate when they figure that out to keep themselves from getting hurt later.

Does your ex know that you are feeling this way? If she does then she may want to talk with you. 5 years is a long relationship and I am sure she did not walk away without some good memories. If she is not involved with anyone she may want to spend some time with you to see where your heart and her heart lie at this point. Worth asking I would venture to say?

Better start trying to get over it man. Dont want to live the rest of your life thinking about the "could'ves".

If you really arent feeling your current girl, let her go, its not really fair to be in a relationship if you're not really into her, she could be going out with another guy that is as crazy about her as you are for your ex.

You have to remember that everyone in different. You will never love any girl the same. Trust me I know it hurts and is hard to move on. I just broke off a 4 year relationship. Trust me it takes time. Maybe you just need to be alone and get your mine straight.

You are putting your ex on a pedestal, only remembering her good sides, which girl can compete with that. You need to take a step back and take a look on the whole picture
