I just want to apologize to anyone I offended a few weekends ago with this character. The cop killings I've heard about in the news recently almost made me sick to my stomach when I remembered the horrible, juvenile and not funny 'jokes' I was posting on this account. There are some bad cops, yes, but I certainly do not believe that anyone deserves what happened to them. I know too, though, that there are far more good cops. I promise you've seen the last of this disgusting character. My sincere apologies, and I pray that they rest in peace.

Jessi: Yes, my apology is quite sincere. How could it not be? I have no idea, now, why I thought it was so funny a few weeks ago. I'm leaving this account open a little longer, in hopes that the people whom I've offended will see my apology, but tomorrow, I'm deleting this one. May your husband be safe, and peace and many blessings to your family. And, again, I'm sorry.

You know what...I'm the wife of a cop, and if you're sincere, then I really do appreciate your apology. I was one of the ones who was upset by your previous posts. I worry sick for my husband every single night when he goes to work. We have two children, and he's a fantastic husband, and an incredible father. He's also one of the kindest, most generous people I know. He is truly one of the officers who wants to help people, and make this world a little better to live in. We would be devastated beyond belief if anything happened to him.
Thank you.

I saw your posts a few weeks ago, but chose not to respond to any of them. I wasn't so much offended as I was just upset. I don't offend easily, as getting insulted is part of the job. But your posts upset me a little because of how they were presented. As obvious as it was to me that you were not really an officer, I'm sure there were people out there who were fooled, for at least a little while. The things in your posts encouraged and added fuel to those who already don't like the police, and if they thought you were an officer, just gave them that much more reason to think the police really were as horrible as they thought. If a real officer is out of line and does something wrong, the person has a reason to be upset. But a lot of times, these people who hate the police have only had negative interactions with the police because the person goes into it with the attitude that the officer is wrong, just because the person got caught speeding or doing whatever.
All that being said, I, for one, accept your apology. At least you can admit that you were in the wrong, which is never an easy thing. As long as people can learn from their mistakes and make an effort to move on from them, there is still hope for the human race.
It's understandable that hearing about officers being killed has affected you. Being on the inside, and having lost an officer in my department recently, it is always hard to hear of an officer being killed. For me, any time I read about an officer being killed in the line of duty, it's hard for me not to cry. It doesn't matter if the officer was nearby or across the country. Even if I have never even heard the officer's name before, they are still family. Thank you for your apology and your condolences.

I don't know why people hate cops so much. Just because they have a badge and stuff doesn't mean they are perfect. They make mistakes too but they have a risky job and when someone Talks about a cop who hits a person and uses force u have to get the facts because there are so many cops and they need to make sure they are going home after thier shift. I think the Police officers do a great job protecting us. Just think about all those cops who dies on September 11th in the city. I think it was very nice of you apologizing but do me a favor when u have something negative to say about cops think of all the good that they do. Trust me I have a few friends who are cops.

I know this won't be very popular, but I am not a fan of the cops. I think the National Guard would do a better job of policing the streets and hopefully they wouldn't do the racial profiling and beating of innocent blacks like the police do in many of our states. I don't think it is right for anyone to kill anyone else unless it is in self defense, but at the same time it isn't really fair how they treat us either. I have been pulled over for nothing before and the cop couldn't even tell me why he was pulling me over. Made me get out of the car in the rain while I had a tux on, searched my car, then just said I can go. I was driving a Pontiac Trans Am not a BMW or Impala or anything to raise suspicion.

i was'nt around to see what you said, but at least your man enough to apologize. We all need to learn that everyone's life matters cop and even criminals. I think if your apology is sincere and if you meditate and repent, the lord is certainly most forgiving. We could all be a little better at just shutting up sometimes.

Don't we wish bad cops themselves had the same dignity to admit they abused their power and apologize to those they victimize too!
Hopefully they will learn from you
