Here is the deal. I had my BP tested at our drug store in one of those arm dealy things. It came out 153 over 91.

I wake up alot with headaches that last all day. Could that be related to the high blood pressure?
ALso,, a doctor told me that they dont worry about blood pressure being high unless the bottom number is over 90. One point isnt that big of deal. Is it?

Has your general practitioner spoken to you approximately PIH (being pregnant brought on hypertenstion) or preeclampsia? Well a headache that does NOT leave with tylenol would be a signal. If you have not taken tylenol but, take a few now. Wait awhile and if it does not leave, name exertions and supply instantly. If you will have already taken tylenol to your headache and it hasn't long gone away in any respect, name proper now. Call exertions and supply, provide an explanation for your historical past of top blood stress and inform them how you will have a headache thatr won't leave with tylenol. They will surely wish you to move in. Your blood stress can cross up so speedy. EDIT: please do not use a type of retailer blood stress screens. They are by and large misguided and can say you will have top blood pressur whether or not you do or now not. Even the general practitioner will let you know to not use a type of matters.

I think you need to find a new doctor. The bottom number should be no higher than 80. Your systolic number is also high. It should be around 120. Your headaches could be related to your blood pressure. Since I got mine under control, I rarely have headaches. I used to get them regularly. Get a second opinion! Good luck!

Alot of factors can affect you in the way you are describing. The common affliction that you are describing is 'Sleep Apnea'. A sleeping disorder where you stop breathing for short times. This disorder will give you morning headaches and will also raise your blood preasure.

The most common way to deal with this is to loose weight, don't drink before you sleep or take sleeping pills.

Have your doctor send you for a sleeping test. If he/she won't then get another doctor.

This can lead to serious medical issues such as a heart attack.

Blood pressure whether increased or decreased can cause headaches. In your case the bottom number is 91 which is not to worry,as it may fluctuate2-5 numbers normally which depends on our diet, any stress or tireness can also cause it.
