I noticed I still have split ends and the hair is still breaking. Normally I don't get split ends until I haven't had my hair cut in a while, but today they are still there. The hair also breaks easily near the end of the strand. It looks like a little ball and it can bend then break.

What do I do? Is it my shampoo? I use herbal essences

Go back to the salon and have them cut off more length and before you leave check and make sure your split ends are gone.

Go to a professional to get an opinion they'll probably suggest a special shampoo and/or product. Don't worry it happens to many people just until you "cure it" make it like a trend dont cover it or be embarrassed wear it like its cool. : )

do u straighten your hair if so you prolly need to give your hair a break from the high damaging heat of the straightener/curling iron

you may want to consider getting a repairing shampoo for dry/damaged hair that'd prolly help
