I believe people are born homosexual. They cannot help it. However, I know that many of them are not glad that they are and tried for many years to be "straight". Most people want to be normal in the sense that they have children they can love and a life filled with as little grief and confusion as possible. If this is true, then why do we keep pushing for "acceptance" of homosexuality, and not seek a cure?

If you say they are not born homosexuals, then you believe it is a choice. I have heard many many homosexual leaders say "who would choose to be homosexual?" The answer, "NO ONE". They must be born this way or they are freaks who just want thrills. If that is the answer we should not embrace their lifestyle and we should continue to condemn it.

First off...define 'normal'. Just because the majority of people are straight and that straight life is the right life does not mean that homosexuals aren't normal. I believe they're just like us straight people, with different preferences, is all. The fact that people are pushing and trying to force people to be 'cured' of homosexuality is unhealthy and quite frankly, immature. You can't change how a person is, no matter what. And being gay isn't a disease either. For a long time, doctors and psychologists believed it was. I think somewhere around the 1970's they took it out of the DSM Guide for Mental Illnesses. Many people think of it as an abomination and try to do away with it. I find people like that hypocritical and morally wrong.

We are all born sinners, does that make it OK to sin? Different people have different crosses to bear. The Holy Spirit is God's agent to change any sinful tendency, inherited or acquired.

I think the reason that so many people don't "want" to be homosexual is that is it still barely tolerated in western culture. If you are 14 and fall for a girl, your buddies might rib you a bit; fall for a guy, though, and you're likely to end up black and blue.

You can't cure something that isn't wrong. So I have to think that you believe that being homosexual is wrong. True, it isn't the best thing if you are trying to get a population to procreate, but other than that, why is it wrong?

"I believe people are born homosexual."

This is the root of the problem. No one is born homosexual.
