Remove it from the tube (leaving it in the tube will make it soggy because to much humidity gets between the tube and the cigar). Save the tbe though incase you want to take it with you someplace, that way it wont get crushed.

This depends on whether you are planning on aging a cigar or smoking it within the next few months.

If you are smoking in the next few months then it really makes no difference.

If you are planning on aging a stogie it goes to what kind of tube we are talking about:

Glass Tube - Remove from tube.
Alumninum Tube - Since these are not air tight sealed, most people leave it in the tube but remove the cap.

Also if the tube has a cedar sleeve on the foot and you plan to age it for a long period, remove the cedar sleeve as they historically promote the growth of mold.

That depends a lot on when you are planning to smoke it. Realize that all of the unwrapped cigar in your humidor will eventually take on the same basic characteristics - a kind of homogenizing affect. So if you are going to store it for a long time and want it to be its original, unique self, then keep it in the tube.

Take it out of the tube. There's no point in placing it in a humidity controlled environment if the cigar can't actually take advantage of it.

take it out of the tube and let it breathe. It will stay fresh and you'll enjoy it a whole lot more.
