Whew, you asked a big question. First of all, you must realize that God is love. He needs to have Jesus in his life in order to know love and give love. Second, he needs to learn how to let go of his past and love himself. I always say that you should profit from your pain. Even though he had a rough upbringing, it does not mean that he is not capable of bouncing back. The child will help him to see things in a different way, but first he needs to open his heart to see.

He has to be the one to let go of his past, first off. The only way you can prove to him that you are going to be there for him is to do just that. It's only been a year, you cannot undo his life in that time. If you are serious about him and this relationship it is going to take alot of time and patience. He first has to trust you, then and only then will he open his heart to you. Just know that if you ever hurt him or give him any doubt as to your relationship he will not trust you. Love him, that's the only thing you can do.

Honey, instead of you writing this, it should be him.. He should be wanting to show you that because of what happend he will be a great father and wonderful to you too. He actually experienced the downside so the only way he should want to look is up.. Just stand behand him and work on this together... It will be ok..

I think he knows it already. Having a new baby changes a person for the better because you try not to make the same mistakes our parents made with us. Theres nothing you can really do to prove this to him. Just keep telling him how much you love and appreciate him. Good luck

Yes, your ages and past will greatly impact the baby. You should give the baby up for adoption and wait 10 years + get married before bringing another life into this world.

It will take a lot of time and patience.
Affection, conversation, attention. Everyday and everytime.
Only with a true heart and feelings you can assure a person that he has someone who really loves and care for him.
