6pm so ppl are home with their candy.
Tons of ppl don't get it until that day on their way home from work.

Usually the little kids start at 4:30 or 5:00, but the bulk come at dark, which is around 6. We usually give up by 8:30 - 9. Depends on the weather, here in Saskatchewan, Canada. We are supposed to have snow tomorrow, and it's been around zero.

Over here, the kids come between 6-8pm, and then it dies down, and ends at 9pm.
