Here is what God's Word says..
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie
Note in the Titus verse he even addresses promises.
As for feeling, it does not matter what I feel, you feel, ect. what does matter is what God's Word states.

well he does seem to change his mind...
The Jews are his people
no wait not getting enough "whatever" from the Jews
Persecute them for falling away from god
still not enough
send Jesus
change everything
the whole world now his people
whole world has to give "whatever" to god
just a thought-perhaps knowing god and what he wants is beyond us puny humans
Maybe we should be happy to be here and treat our neighbors as ourselves---most religions at least agree on that concept, most just don't live by it.

God said Matt 5:18 "Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but a jot of My word shall not ....." Once God makes a promise He will bring it to pass. He is bound by His Words.

No, God will not revoke His promises, although, He does set boundaries that we are not to cross, and if we do He has already told us of the consequences.

"He is faithful" was found 2 times in 2 verses in the New Testament.
Hebrews 10:23 - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If you look, the promises he made are generally conditional upon certain behavior by humans. If we don't fulfil the conditions, he's under no obligation to keep the promise.

The God I believe in, is a God of Order a God of JUSTICE. (that's true justice - not man mad justice). I don't believe it's in him to just up and say, I'm tired and bored and don't love any of you anymore. But if he did, would it matter? No one really knows what is going to happen, we only believe. I've learned that questioning Faith will drive you crazy.

He could if he wanted too he holds all power. But in Genesis it says god created the word, and the word was god (our bibles)So everything in your bible is true, and the word clearly states what happened and what will happen,so there is no chance he will just up-an abondon us!God-bless ya!

He could, but I trust He wont'.
I have had a rather difficult life. G-d has got me through a childhood of abuse and neglect, through being the only one of my ethnic minority in a WASP town known for its cruelty and racism, over poverty, through mental illness, suicidal tendencies, twelve years of homelessness, and war.
I trust the G-d who got me through all of that. I have no doubt whatsoever that G-d will be there for me, and I have not fear of anything, not of sickness, not of death, not of war, pain, loneliness or anything. My G-d is my rock and my salvation.
