I can't make you believe anything that you chose not to believe. All I can do is be honest and tell you what finally caused me to believe.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

So, where did all the stuff for the "Big Bang" or whatever come from? There are things that have to be taken on faith whether you are talking about religion, science, philosophy. Over the years I've decided that the existence of a Creator is obvious in every detail of the earth.

When someone who disbelieves (and atheism takes just as much faith as believing in a Creator) can go outside and make a handful of dirt live, I'll listen to their arguments.

There is no way to prove God's existence any more than it can be proved that God does not exist. Proof of the null-case is a logical impossibility.

There are so many examples but here is an interesting one.

"In the Bible God was asked to prove he exists by stopping time.
The sun move backwards. Recently scientists were going to send a satellite into space. I don't recall what it was for but they needed to program it from day one to the present time. When the calculations were done one whole day was miissing. They could not fine anything wrong with the equipment nor could they find an answer. One of the scientists stated that when he was young and attended sunday school his teacher stated that one day time stood still. They found it in the scriptures and found that the time it stood still was exactly the same time as was missing.
The scientist who wrote the article said it was a life changing event for him." - silverman

It is illogical to think that DNA happened as an accident. If something as complex as DNA, the genetic blueprint for all life, was not designed the creator then how could you logically explain its origins when evolution falls short of explaining how two hydrogen atoms from the big bang end up causing DNA.

science and logic are rules of nature thus they cannot be used to explain the supernatural.

i would ask you then to explain to me how the laws of science and logic came to be in the first place. then when you have exhausted all possibilities look to the gods.. yes i said gods not God.

i find that the pagan gods are much better at analysis because they each have their own realm of influence. and are not precieved as all powerful all knowing beings.

(they also take a little criticisim much better than that other guy)

you will never find proof of god. or gods. because it is their nature to reward faith. faith cannot be had when proof is there.

Just think for a moment.

How can the universe begin. Your probably going to say the "big bang theory". Before the big bang there would have been a particle that just happen to contain every atom in the universe.

Now heres 2 questions you won't find a valid answer for!

What causes that particle to explode?

Where did that particle come from?

If you come up with an answer please email it to me.

If you don't, well theres a good reason to believe in God

Yes! The evidence of life and its complexity testify to the fact that life in this world was created by an intelligent designer.

Take the element water as an example. Scientific researches show that all elements (gold, calcium, aluminum etc) EXPAND and DECREASE in weight when heated or subjected high temperatures. This causes them to float as they expand and lose weight.

Then the reverse is true; elements CONTRACT and INCREASE in weight when frozen; thus they become relatively heavy and sink or fall to the ground.

WATER (H2O) is known to behave strangely opposite. Water contracts at certain high levels of temperatures and expand at frozen temperatures.

The wonderful benefit of this property of water is that; because it loses weight when frozen, this causes ice in the oceans to float on the surface and then melt later to preserve life in the oceans. If water had the same properties as ordinary elements, it would freeze, increase in weight and therefore sink down into the ocean bed and eventually cause the entire ocean to freeze killing all life in our oceans.

The evidence of this special design of water testifies of an intelligent designer and more evidently the existence of God, JEHOVAH.

One man came to barber and while he was having the haircut they started discussion on G-d's existence. The barber said: "Look at all the misery and suffering in the world; it means that G-d doesn't exist if he allows bad things to happen." As the customer was leaving the barber shop he saw another man with very long hair that was passing by; so the customer turned to the barber and said: "Barbers don't exist." Barber exclaimed: "How can you say something like that?! I'm right here in front of you!" The customer responded: "If there were barbers in the world, man wouldn't walk around with such a long terribly looking hair." The barber said: "I would love to give him a haircut but it's not my fault that he doesn't want to come to me." So the customer responded: "So it's not G-d's fault that many people don't come to Him and don't seek Him."
When you want to have G-d in your life you look for Him, you always find Him. If you want to ignore His existence, no proof will ever convince you. And I guess since you're asking this question you haven't really had tough times in your life. But as they say: "There are no atheists in foxholes." When something bad happens (I don't wish anything bad to happen to you) and we have nobody to turn to, only then we turn to and look for G-d.
I wish you to find Him before that.

nobody can prove that. You have to believe in faith. However, can anyone really prove the big bang theory or any of the theories in history..no..we believe what we believe. If you can't look and the animals, sun, moon and world in general and know that it was created by God, I don't know that anyone can help you. I KNOW GOD exist because not only do I feel him, he's proven it to me over and over again.

One might show that belief in God is not unreasonable or illogical. But that is not proof that God exists. Such "proof", in the scienctific sense does not exist.

God being Supernatural and Transcendent can not be proved by natural (i.e., scientific) criteria. Science can not prove that which is beyond its scope.
