i was faced with this once. i had a friend for five years and he told me that he was attracted to me in that way. i told him that i was flattered that he felt that way but i was not comfortable with being with another guy. and i still wanted to be his friend. we remained friends throughout high school, and at the that time i feel that is what he need the most as more and more people found out about his life style. just be honest and tell her the truth and offer to be friends. sometimes just being a friend is the best relationship two people can share.

thats awful but just avoid her as much as possible.thats gonna be hard but tell her that you dont go that way and tht you dont plan to anytime soon.she should understand and if shes any real friend shell leave you alone.

Is it because you see yourself in her!! That's the only reason you are running. If you are secure about yourself her preference shouldn't have an effect on you, unless you are gay!! Find out who you are first gay or straight?
