Smoking one joint is not going to kill your brain cells or have any long term affect nor should it make you addicted to it.

it will kill brain cells, but just living kills braincells too.. one joint isn't going to have long term effects, and it can become addictive if you make it a habit.

not much will happen to you - if you're lucky you might get a little pleasant buzz

The trick is not to make a habit of it.

I myself have never smoked marijuana - I think inhaling burning stuff into your lungs is generally a bad thing given the amount of stuff that gives you cancer.

1 joint won't kill you.

Just be careful of the formation of habits and peer group pressure.

1 joint does not make you an addict, nor will it kill a lot of brain cell. pot is less harmful/addictive then cigarettes anyday. it just makes you smile and chillaxed.

The fact that you would even consider using pot (or any other drug) tells me you've already lost a lot of brain cells. Can't afford to lose any more.

its not addictive until you abuse it over a period of time.
