Only my carry-on luggage. They took out an electrical charging device with batteries in it. I explained that it was a recharger but they though it was too suspicious. They told me I could re-check it. It was a big hassel - I had to go back to the check-in area - but my airline (Continental) happily gave me a little box to put it in and it arrived OK with the checked baggage. If I was running late - I would have had to have them keep it (Throw it away). They were idiots and thought it could be a bomb. When in doubt - check it and only carry on minimal stuff. Total hassle !!!!

A man's dress shirt, tie and dress watch was taken from the suitcase at the beginning of the trip. Complaints were made but it was a case of prove it was there.

My friend had her underwear stolen twice. Probably by baggage handlers, not by TSA
