Yes, but then they will just give you another ticket for littering. I think the parking ticket would be cheaper.

I did. we put our tickets on the dashboard

When I got back to my car, a ticket was there, so I got a ticket that had been thrown on the ground by another vehicle that left. I worte a letter enclosing the ticket and stated that I had not noticed that in my departure from the car, this ticket that I had purchased had been blown onto the floor of my car by the door slamming.

You must write a letter. sound dissapointed and victimised.

No, absolutely not. The officer that wrote the ticket will still turn in his copy of the ticket and it will still be processed through the courts or city. If you ignore paying it, the cost of the ticket will go up and it can eventually go to warrant. If you tell the court or city that your ticket was lost they will expect you to contact them to get the info. to pay it and they will not allow it to be an excuse to get out of the ticket. Sorry!

You caN always try to talk yourself out of a ticket or at least have it reduced so as not to reflect on your record. I would go for it. My husband once got a parking ticket at a hospital parking lot for parking "backwards". He never figured that one out. He didnt have to pay anything, but it was a goofy experience.

Not unless you want to bring attention to the cracked windows and get a ticket for that.

No. It is your responsibility to (1) pay the fee and (2) make the ticket visible to the attendant. Weather reports will not exonerate you

No...once dispensed....it is your responsibility according to the law to pay it. if you knew about it in the first place...you should follow up on it.
