My boyfriend is pissed because my sister asked me to move with her to take care of her baby. and it is something i would have done, without question but i'm moving to america to be with my boyfriend. He got really pissy about it when i told him, and said that no matter what i say he can see that i'm gonna end up calling him and saying that i cant move over because i'm taking care of my sister. that i have a track record in not saying no to people. now he's barely talking to me. i do normally like to look after people, but i wouldn't have moved in with my sister because i'm starting a new life with my bf. he makes me so sad lately. and i cant see why.

He should be more understanding, she's your sister & she needs you, he should be more supportive & be happy he has a sweet gf like u, not alot of people would be nice enough to do what ur doing for your sister, he should have that part in him aswell, would he be there for a family member if he/she needed him??..
U should really tell your boyfriend to be more understanding about ur situation, u can move in with him at any time, but your sister needs you now, u shouldn't feel bad about this & he shouldn't get pissed. Try talking to him, if he'z "that pissed" u couldn't move in with him, that meanz he loves u alot, & hopefully with time will understand .

Maybe he is the one that has second thoughts about you coming. Maybe you need to talk things threw before you make a life change and he doesn't have your back when you get there. Start reading the signs before you end up broken hearted on something he can't be a man to tell you how he really feels... so maybe he is trying to be sooo pissed so its easier to walk away from.. It appears he has no reason to be mad but the question is why is he..

I'd be very careful if I were you. If he is trying to lay a guilt trip on you before you even move in with him... Just imagine how he will treat you when you are in a whole new country (away from your loved ones). He will walk all over you. If he is already labeling you as "WEAK", just imagine how he will be when he has you to himself. Be strong. Think about your choices. It might be better for you to go live with your sister. God might be trying to tell you something by having your sister ask you to stay with her at this very time in your life... decisions... decisions!!!

The fact that he is angry over you possibly moving in with your sister to help with her baby is simply selfish. He seems to think that all your thoughts and feelings are supposed to be about him. They are not. You have family and you have friends. yes, he is important, but that doesnt mean you have to cut everyone else off in your life just to make him happy. And if thats what he wants, then hes a jerk.

Sounds like he's scared that you're going to have second thoughts about moving to America to be with him, and helping out your sister would be the perfect reason for you to bail on him.
You need to reassure him that you won't be moving in with your sister, but to America to be with him.

It's because since you're with him he sees that you should be living with him and it makes him mad because it seems like your sister is more important to you than him. Show him that he is important to you and if he doesn't understand then i dont see a relationship for ya'll. But good luck i wish you the best =)

You're sad because you're getting ready to make a big change in you're life and you're having cold feet.
Take your sister out of the picture and think about what you really really want to do.
Don't let his immaturity coerce you into something you're may not be sure about.

He thinks you are wishy-washy and a pushover, and that you put other people's needs before your own (and his). Is this true? Do you really want to go to America, or are you just doing it to please him? Decide for yourself, and make your decision final. If you really want to come to the US then nothing will change your mind, if so...tell him that. Make him understand you arent going to change your mind if its what you really want. He's afraid to get too used to the idea of you coming here because he's afraid you will change your mind and he will get hurt...thats why he's backing off. Prove to him that you mean what you say.
