Well I am in the US in veterinary school I will give you a little idea of what you will need done and the supplies you may have to convert prices or look them up...
1. You will need at least one litterbox (I recommend an enclosed one) $20 US
2. You will need a 20lb container of litter (I recommend ScoopAway this size will last you a while with a kitten but it is the best value) $10 US
3. You will need to have your kitten FeLV and FIV tested this ranges from $18-30 US for the test only
4. A veterinary visit cost really depends on the area and cost of living but a good idea would be $50 for the visit (you will be having at least 3 of these for vaccinations)
5. Vaccine protocols vary with portions of the world and what diseases are present and predominant in your individual part of the world--You will probably be getting about $30 worth of vaccines at each of your first 3 visits to the vet
6. Food is relatively cheap but don't buy the cheapest brand, a good quality pet food requires less to sustain the animal but costs more on weight basis (I recommend Purina ProPlan, Eukanuba, Iams, or Science Diet) an 8 pound bag will probably cost $10-20 US
7. You will need a few toys-balls, mice, scratching post to save your furniture total about $20 US
8. You will need a carrier to take fluffy to the vet in so that will cost about $25 US
9. You will need to have your pet spayed/neutered rough cost- $80-$200 depending on area (done at 6 months or after)
***High end cost of your kitten for the first 6-9 months $465 US***

Litter box, litter, food bowl, canned food, dry food, water bowl, pillow to sleep on (optional), collar (optional), toys, pooper scooper, scratching post, nail clippers. All that may come to $50 - $100 if you go to a discount place like WalMart or Target. All the first shots should be under $200 and you'll need boosters. Female cats can be about $130 to spay, and males are usually $60-100 to neuter. These are average costs in my state - they may be cheaper or more in other parts of the country.

quite relies upon on the look after (pound). In my section, there are 2 Animal centers (the "kill" 'shelters') the place i might recommend adopting your kitten. the single I volunteer at rates $30.00 entire. This consists of the kitten/cat already being spayed/neutered, Rabies shot, first vaccination, first vet flow to loose (different than any drugs if needed). the different one, the place I observed considered one of my cats, rates an adoption value of approximately $70.00. they arrive spayed/neutered. it quite is approximately it. (yet I had to rescue this guy, he grew up from a kitten in isolation in simple terms 'reason he had bronchitis which, with drugs, he's ninety% greater suitable, and became a million when I observed him). by the way, for a large decision of kittens, kitten "season" the place they're waiting to undertake (after being with fosters for 8 weeks) starts around could and is going by October. it quite is while the shelters are large finished and that they start euthanizing the older cats to make room for the kittens. :'-( Older cats want love, too. (I also have a t-blouse that announces that)

We'll assume that the beast is neutered and has had its first series of shots. Since I'm answering from US, you'll have to adjust my numbers due to the exchnage rate.
Medical care will probably run about $100 - $150 for semi-annual visits and required shots. Depending on what you feed it, food can go upwards of $150 a year. Litter will run about that or somewhat more depending if you use basic clay litter or go for the fancier stuff.
I've never really figured out the costs as ours (Gargoyle) is worth every penny.
