For those camera made in the last two years, just plug the USB cable into the camera, the other end to the USB connector in the computer.
The camera will show up as a disk drive in your system.
Just copy and paste the pictures (or the folder) into your computer hard disk.

For the older computers and older camera, you need to install the driver program to your computer first. Then plug in the cable and run the transfer program.

Sonya ji just go through the procedure given below

1. check your operating system, if its windows Xp then its o.k. Windows XP has drivers for digicams and if you have any other older Operating systems then you need to download some drivers and softwares which you got with the camera.

2. If software download is required then download the software and driver from the CD after that restart the computer.

3. Now you have to connect the USB cord inbetween the camera and the computer.

4. Sice you are connecting the camera for the first time to he PC you have to wait for sometime after connecting, its because the computer will run the drivers.

5. Now you open my computer and there a removable disc will be shown ,just double click on it and open the photos folder then copy and paste all the photos to you computer.

If you own a sony digital camera and you face any problem then feel free to mail me your problem on suthersan2004@yahoo.com.

plug your camera's USB to your computer and it should automatically read it. But if that doesnt work, try going to MY COMPUTER and you'll see it there.

If your camera has a memory card and your computer has a memory card reader ... take the memory card and insert it in the reader =)
