I read your Part 1 and Part 2 above. Satan is a deceiver and causes people twist their thinking. Not sure if you're familiar with the term "group think" but he uses it to his advantage. An example of "group think" is doing something that you may not do on your own accord; however, when placed with a group you would.
Check out the URL I found. It's way too long and in depth for me to quote here; but it provides many examples where Satan has twisted people's thinking into doubting Christ.
It's Satan deception is how he is a liar.
Even having this question posted, in my opinion, has Satan snickering wanting to see how many people will agree with your question and that we can not find an exact verse where he directly lies and may decide Satan's not so bad and should turn from the Lord. Some people are very simple and easily led astray.
We learn in the Bible it is a sin to turn anyone way from Christ.
Edit: I found the verse I was looking for before:
Luke 8:12
Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

Why does it matter? The Bible clearly states that he is a liar and the "father of lies." It also says he was a deceiver from the beginning. Either you believe the Bible and these statements are true, or you don't believe the Bible, in which case an example wouldn't make any difference. I say Satan did lie to Eve because he told a partial truth and lying in the Old Testament included not telling the whole truth, not just direct falsehoods.

"you are a liar and the father of lies"
"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. (gen. 3:4)
do you see adam and eve anywhere? i dont. they died. also they became dead spiratrlly; this is speoration from God and man
and your wrong. they already knew the knolegde of right and wrong, they knew it was wrong to eat the fruit.
umm. in Job, we learn that God has the sole right to grant satan any power. satan must go to God before e can mess with Job. thus, Jesus, being God, would have more power than satan, being below God. if God the Son were to bow to satan, satan would have to go to God the Father to get permission to give power to the Son. wereas, God the Father already gave Jesus great power.

Gospel According to Saint Luke
Chapter 8
5 The sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And other some fell upon a rock: and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 And other some fell among thorns, and the thorns growing up with it, choked it. 8 And other some fell upon good ground; and being sprung up, yielded fruit a hundredfold. Saying these things, he cried out: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 9 And his disciples asked him what this parable might be. 10 To whom he said: To you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to the rest in parables, that seeing they may not see, and hearing may not understand.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 And they by the way side are they that hear; then the devil cometh, and taketh the word out of their heart, lest believing they should be saved. 13 Now they upon the rock, are they who when they hear, receive the word with joy: and these have no roots; for they believe for a while, and in time of temptation, they fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns, are they who have heard, and going their way, are choked with the cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and yield no fruit. 15 But that on the good ground, are they who in a good and perfect heart, hearing the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit in patience.

You people just read it word for word dont you. do you read poetry as literal? no, neither should scripture be taken so literally.
"you shall not die", this was a true statement. They may die physically, but they were given something better: LIFE! living like everyday was the same holds no appeal, it has no life. it is living but not exciting, not emotion, no fear, no understanding, no questions. just the same day looped over and over for ever.
So Lucifer did give them life, the life of excitement and uncertainty. the life we deserve.
Your heaven is dull people, everyday the same, no effort, no mystery, just subservience to a god who shows you love by shielding you from discovery, from imagination, from inquiry.
Lucifer gave the gift of life, which is better than the gift of immortality. the two are not the same.
"They would be like God knowing evil and good". this does not mean they are the knower of all things but that they now had a CHOICE. before they just existed devoid of logic and reasoning, they had no choice.
Then they were given the ability, the intellect to be more than lab rats, and choose to do things based on feelings and thoughts.
(using scripture out of context in the temptation of Christ)
this is what church sermons are made of. it is what lawyers do, it is what happens everywhere. everything is out of context. the bible itself is out of context and believers in it accept this as normal, so why wouldn't Lucifer use the propaganda out of context against the believers.

Telling them they would not die was indeed a lie. Adam and Eve were immortal before they ate from the tree, and God separated Himself from them. That separation is what causes death. Satan lied when he implied that they could live apart from God, and be gods themselves. That is a lie we all deal with every day. We live our lives, apart from God, trying to do everything ourselves. But liek a plant that shakes its fist at the sun, and locks itself in a closet, we amble about for a time, and then eventually fall over.
In tempting Jesus, he tried to do the same thing. Tried to get jesus to turn away from His dependence upon God the Father. Turn the stones into bread- instead of waiting for God to provide. Throw yourself from the Temple and prove to the people below you're God- instead of going to the cross. And bow down and worship me, instead of worshipping God. You can't worship satan, it would be as productive as worshipping me or you. We can't do anything for anyone. We certainly can't provide life. Those are all lies. We can't live apart from God. Nor should we try.

Isaiah 14:13-14
13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
He didn't do it - he couldn't - he was summarily cast down. He lied - even to himself.

I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the most high.

any verse that the devil says he can give power is a verse where the devil is lying, he has no power to give. he can tempt, but that's where his power ends.
