I wish I could enlighten you, but I am not so sure I will even vote this time around. I am a follower of Christ, and am getting to feel that ALL parties fall short of what I would like to see in office.
You certainly have a point regarding the Rep. regarding wars and national debt. I am much more in favor of taking care of our own needs and leave the other countries to fend on thier own after the initial hand up.
So, I did not enlighten you. Maybe I added to my own confusion!!
Be Blessed. No matter who is in office, God is in control.

republicians are great war time leaders, they protect the nation, and actually take charge. The democrats might help the economy, but they leave the nation open to attacks. When bush sr. left office there was about 200 or so navy aircraftcarriers. When clinton left there was like 13. Clinton made it a law that cia and fbi couldn't give each other information. And clinton did regular democratic things so you can't really say it was just clintion.

I cant understand how a democrat can claim to be a christian and live by the word of God when they stand for immoral acts like homosexuality rights, same sex marriage and abortion rights and we can argue this all day long but allowing abortion at 24 weeks is MURDER, since a fetus at second trimaster can survive outside the womb. I still have to disagree with you! Republican party is morally correct.

In my opinion, the only thing the dem are good at is coming up with more ways to spend our money on these government handouts. I'm all for helping people out but when you see generations of people that don't know what it is to work for a living,it really urks me. Help people to help themselves not keep them under government control.

ha. first off let me say that christianity, especially recently, has little or nothing to do with family values.
secondly there is no absolute "family value" because there is no typical family. what makes one family system better than another one?
i think liberals, in my opinion, make better families....liberal families i mean. conservative families seem to have this aura aroudn them, like someone (god ) is watching over the mand will smoot them at the moment they do something wrong. parents are stricter than normal, causing children to become more rebellious. kids tend to do the opposite of what their parents do anyways. if the parents are more lenient the kids have less of a reason to rebel.
repubs claim to be al labout family values because of the 1950s. loo kat leave it to beaver (the show) thats where they get their model for what a good family is....a fake, staged, glorified model. the good, wel ldressed kids, the wife who is more than happy to clean and be the willing servent, the father who always has the best advice and always makes the best decisions. a mother, a father and the kids.
its an image thats been put into their heads and they model these "family values" around it.
the reality of the matter is is that not all families are like that. i was raised by my mother (father was never around) and i seem to be a better person than alot of these so called christians.
(plus im cuter! :D)
of course these are all my opinions.

Maybe it has less to do with taxes and more to do with abortions. As I understand it, Republicans tend to be pro-life and Democrats tend to be pro-choice. And there are quite a few people who believe that abortions are equivalent to murder. Committing murder doesn't seem to be a family value.
Anyways, I'm not giving my position on that issue here. I'd prefer not to start a debate. I'm just trying to point out one possible answer.

I think your evidence speaks for itself and that Dems are more focused on family values.
