His name is Louis. I know you can either pronounce it LOO-iss or LOO-ee but which one would you rather be called? Which one's better?

I would guess depending on his heritage/culture if i know it (ie Italian vs Greek) then i would ask him if i said it the right way. I know he will let you know with that easy intro if its wrong and he wont be offended. Most names are mispronounced unintentionally so don't sweat it

LOO-iss. its more acceptable here. I like it better than LOO-ee. whatever. what does he like to be called?? haha. if you wanna say "hey louis" but dont know how to pronounce his name, i would go with LOO-iss, just because theres a better chance thats how its pronounced.
