You are correct, the problem arises when people are taught religion instead of Christianity which is a relationship and not a religion. Religion tends to create pharisee, the self righteous crowd that gives non believers the impression that all Christians are jerks.

I agree. A person has to truly know how dispicable there sin is though. Not all Christians know how dispicable their sin is. It takes time. We learn through trials. In our weakest moments we can see the strength of Jesus and the value of His sacrifice.

In my faith and love of the one true God, I have learned that it is MY sins that I need to work on with God's understanding and love.
And, the growth of my faith gives me so little, in fact NO, time to be judgemental of the sins of others. As a Christian, I pray to give these thoughts up to God since He's the only one that can, and will, pass judgement on us all.
Good question. Keep your mind and heart open...and keep asking.

I agree that I shouldn't be. I am only human though and still have "thoughts" of judgement about others. I don't however verbalize them and I do pray that God remove those thoughts from my head. If I inadvertantly say something I shouldn't, I always immediately ask for forgiveness.

hmm. odd question. i disagree
it is written "for we love because God first loved us," so, it is the love of God that brings us to salvation, not the hate of sin. And it is the work of God in us that brings us to hate sin.
and yes, if "judgemental" is the hate of sin i should hope that all christians are "judgemental"
but that, by no means is judgemental.
Is it wrong for me to say that a murder is bad? no. is it wrong for me to say that sins such as lies, stealing, rape, adultry, coventry, and other such sins are wrong? no! the bible clearly says thou shall or thou shall not in most cases and if it doesnt then it will say "for the wicked do this or that"

I know I am a sinner that's why I ask for forgiveness. That's why we all need Jesus because without him there can be no way to heaven for who else apart from us is worthy enough to pay for our sin. No other God sent someone. But my God sent his Son so those who accept him are saved. In order to pay for our own sin is to go to hell. So accept Jesus while you still can.
