If you want something very unique to Australia you might consider some "ABO" art or crafts.
another thought would be some coral or shell product from the Barrier reef area. Another but hard to find item(and I am not sure it is exportable is Sea going(salt water) Crocodile tooth jewelry.

All my memories are great from New Zealand. I loved Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland. I was there 4 different times. I was in the Navy 18 years old. I loved the people and the places. Time sure does fly.

If you live somewhere it get cold then get yourself a pair of Australian Made UGG Boots!
They are soooo comfortable and warm that you will love them forever!
UGGS are boots lined with 100% Australian Merino Wool and come in loads of colors.
Be warned...there are some cheap imitations sold that are made in China. Make sure that you get boots that are made in Australia from Australian Merino Wool...the quality just cant be beaten!

When travelling I like to buy books that tell me about the area I'm visiting. I also like to buy a small memeto, a cup, a stubbie holder, or something in that range. I hope you enjoy your visit and get something that you can treasurer

hi when ever I travel i always by t-shirts and table place mats,reminds me of my travels long after the trips over and their good to give away to family and friends when I get home,easy to pack and not that expensive.
