Actually he's exploiting an illogical flaw in creationist thinking.
Creationists believe that ONLY God can create something from nothing. If so, then God could have only come from God which is a bit of a paradox.
Personally, I do understand your thinking that God could have always existed. Many people have difficult envisioning something infinite going both forward and in reverse of time. The existence of energy & matter in the universe is the same. For example, we know from basic physics that energy cannot be spontaneously generated from nothingness. We also know that energy/matter cannot be completely destroyed. As such, we must conclude that the amount of energy/matter in our universe is constant and has always existed and will aways existed. Infinite both forward & back...forever & ever...amen.

If God appeared on the earth, and invited people to join Him in Heaven, everyone would go. but not everyone would be fit to go. Not everyone would be happy there. So it is God's plan to "hide His face for a time". The people that choose God do it out of spiritual reasons. Can you "prove" God? Certainly not, and it is a waste of time to do that. You can't aim a mass spectrometer at Him, or get a DNA sample from Him. God's plans don't make much sense to us at first, they weren't meant to.
The Bible says that "God's ways are above our own, and our thoughts are not His thoughts. As high as the Heavens are above the earth, so are His ways and thoughts above ours." Jesus said His followers would recognize His voice. It just happens. If you want to study the earth, you study geology. Life- biology. Microbes- microbiology. But to study God, we have to study Jesus, who is called the "Logos" of God. Which literally means the "study of God". The Word of God. He is Himself, God. Always has been, always will be. He'll be here soon. You can see for yourself.

The Bible recognises the life of the Canaanite god Ba'al in diverse places. the certainty is that Christian monotheism originated interior the deserts of Egypt which became until now Polytheist. hence the early followers have been on very close guard for the previous impacts. In later circumstances the Egyptian techniques have been tempered with the techniques of Zoroastrianism with its bi-polar perfect/incorrect mentality which keeps to be the lynchpin of Christian morality to on the present time. until now that it became easy obedience hence Commandments, Deuteronomy etc.

No, to be fair, they also say that the natural defraction of light through a shower of rain is God's gift for dumping a trillion tons of water on the whole planet 4,500 years ago as a kind of "sorry" - and that proves he exists...

You can't see the air but you CAN measure it through science. You can't do that with god. Btw, what do you think gives the sky it's blue color? Oxygen. Hmmmmm..... I guess we can see it then can't we?
